Follow these steps to "Verify" your YouTube account. You will then be able to 'Enable Custom Thumbnails" in the Advanced Settings.
1) Log in to Youtube and click the Youtube settings gear.
2) Choose the "View additional Features" link.
3) Click the "Verify" button.
4) Choose one of the options to get your confirmation code. Then enter the code they send you.
5) Enable 'Custom Thumbnails' is the setting below.
